The story is this - I was listening to Ugly Kid Joe, and then found out that Whit Crane toured with Life of Agony which made me laugh. Then I was trying to remember what other band Peter Steele was also in, and could only think of Cannibal Corpse which is totally incorrect.

So then that got me thinking: I did a post on hot dudes before I disappeared from LJ, so now I shall do a post on weird crushes that people have because I'm curious.

Afternoon all!

Firstly, I hope you all had a totally sweet Christmas or whatever alternative, mine was....festive? It was all good.

Mostly though, this is what I've been doing over the past couple of days:



So yeah I guess I forgot to mention that I decided I should be less fucking useless and so taught myself to crochet because it seemed easier than knitting.

I started a blanket (but got bored and am probably going to unpick it) and moved onto these little Amigurumi dudes.

Well, strictly speaking the weird dog thing isn't so much amigurumi as just a regular weird-looking wacky-limbed smiling dog, but that's because I made him completely without a pattern so his proportions aren't really correct. The bunny comes from here and is all good except according to the pattern he is supposed to be about 4 in. tall. He is pretty much double that - correct gauge and tension, what are those?!

But yeah, I bought more wool today to make even more, I am sad and old already. But fuck that, I have glittery crochet hooks, how can you lose?!

So, it's goddamn October already. I started back at uni today (finally!), urgh.

So, has anyone thought about Halloween yet? If so, what are you all going as? nintendo_lula is probably having a party at some point and I have no fucking clue.

Poor old bastard, I'm sorry for telling you smelt like a rancid mouldy carpet (but you did), and you were spoilt and mean and spiteful (but you were), and shouting at you for trying to bite me (but you did), and for saying that when i inherited you I'd sell you to the dog food factory, because god knows what happened but you preempted me by getting in the river somehow and were then couldn't get yourself back out, and however evil you were I wouldn't wish such a demise on anyone.

All i know is that I'm hoping you somehow went under and didn't come up and didn't spend hours scared and suffocating, and that I can only be glad that my horse wasn't there to see it because he would have followed you in out of devotion and killed himself too.

Now we just have to ring the vet and the farmer and find out what the fuck you do with a giant two ton horse corpse stuck in a river. Looooovely.

So i totally feel like I never update this anymore purely because it seems like noone except like two people would actually be bothered about me writing stuff about people they don't know, or posting pictures of random events that hold absolutely no significance for them. God, I'm getting a bit pretentious.

That said, I went to an awesome BBQ last night because the weather is suddenly gorgeous here, and it was fun and I hada big headache today because of far too much punch, so pictures shall be posted.

So recently, I've been revising (erm, some of the time) whilst having awful TV rock channels in the background, basically because it's a slight improvement on MTV Base.

But yeah. I swear, that stupid Avenged Sevenfold video where his pregnant girlfriend dies is on about every second, and I love it because i fucking hate M. fucking Shadows, and I like seeing him looking pissed off. HAH, your girlfriend got hit by a truck, you awful nasal bitch! (yes, i think i may have a problem)

But what is more worrying is I've decided I quite fancy the one who plays the guitar on her coffin (how camp?), except, I've forbidden myself to think this because it is illegal to have a crush on someone who thinks their name is 'Synyster Gates'. Urgggggh.

So. Inspired by necro_nerdo's recent post, please to be posting some people who you think are fit. Not necessarily musicians or whatever but at least someone vaguely famous off the TV or something maybe.

Come on, I'm properly curious as to all of your taste in...people!

So my hair isn't orange anymore.



And apparently this prompts very cheesy and unflattering grins about it. Well, my computer is broke and I don't have photoshop on my mother's work laptop which I have purloined, and having purple/black hair makes all my pictures terribly contrasty, this is one of the only ones in which I have a nose. Excuses excuses.

SO yes. I should be revising and doing dissertation proposals but all my journals are on the other computer and sonmehow I can't quite bring myself to re-download all the stuff. Shaaaaame.

One day I will update LJ about something other than my hair or my computer breaking. One day!
